Full Stack Web Developer

Someone working in this role will be expected to work with a variety of colleagues across the enterprise including key business stakeholders, senior leadership, UX designers, and UI developers. The ideal candidate will be current in web technologies, but have a practical approach to making technology decisions in the enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Demonstrated experience in eCommerce, eCRM, Content Management Systems and/or Web Marketing application assets

· Be able to articulate and demonstrate the mapping of business process to technical execution

· Demonstrated knowledge of CSS, CSS3 and JavaScript

· Experience with AJAX, JavaScript libraries and frameworks

· Familiar with browser compatibility nuances

· Familiar with hand coding HTML, HTML5 and CSS

· Experience with debugging and performance tuning tools

· Understands Pros/Cons of client side caching and edge caching

· Understands performance impacts of image sizing, resolution and Sprites

· Experience implementing client side consumer social and transaction oriented web applications

· Experience integrating with web services

· Understanding of architectural and network layers of an application

· Comfortable with ambiguity

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

· Easily adapts and learns new things whether it’s a new library, framework, process or a visual design concept

· Passion for releasing bug free code and driving operation support to near zero

· Willingness to take on roles and responsibilities outside their comfort zone to get the job done

· Demonstrated passion about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and exploring the latest technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

· Practical experience developing in JSP

· Practical experience developing using Javascript, HTML, and CSS

· Practical experience using jQuery

Helpful Qualifications:

· Understanding of SEO ranking and Search tools

· Understanding of or hands-on programming knowledge in Unix, Host Files, Curl, Cron

· Understanding of a Global Traffic Manager and Load Balancers

· Understanding of DNS

· Understanding of security related concepts/concerns within a full stack web application

Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline preferred or 6 years of equivalent experience required.
